Everyone knows that prevention is better than cure. It is almost always much more difficult and expensive to rectify security problems at a late stage of application development than if sensitivity to security issues is built into the development process from the beginning. Context helps clients implement a Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) approach, helping them to gain an understanding of each application’s specific security requirements at the start of development and to incorporate design and code review processes prior to final security testing.

Our secure coding training courses are designed for developers with a thorough understanding of application coding languages but a less sure grasp of code vulnerabilities or how to code defensively. Training also covers the use of threat modelling and code reviews.
