Context will be exhibiting at NZDIA National Security Forum 2017 as part of the Babcock stand, #32.
Senior Security Consultant, Dan Kennedy, will be presenting ‘The Dragon’s Organs: Chinas CMC Cyber modernisation’.
Dan will provide insight into the three key aspects of reforms that have modernised China’s military intelligence; organisational structure, known activities and capabilities, and strategic goals. He will answer key questions around:
- What were the roles of its intelligence services for targeting and collection and how may this change?
- How does the PRC Leadership use it’s intelligence to inform, set guidance and execute its policies?
- What are the main challenges that it will face as part of the reformation?
His presentation will highlight several factors from known historical accounts of intrusions that may underpin future studies of its intelligence services activities and, in particular, the way they affect national security interests of western society.
The presentation will be held at 9am on 11th October.
The NZDIA Forum is a critical event aimed at bringing together Government, Defence and Industry in New Zealand, offering high impact presentations balanced with opportunities to network and experience industry capabilities.
This year’s forum will be held under the theme “Emerging Technologies & Cybersecurity Capabilities Supporting National Security Agencies”.
