From April 1st, Cyber Essentials is moving from five Accreditation Bodies to a single Cyber Essentials Partner. The IASME Consortium (IASME) has been selected as the sole partner to manage the Cyber Essentials scheme for the next five years.
The Cyber Essentials Scheme is a cyber-security standard governed by the National Cyber Security Standard (NCSC) to ensure that organisations adhere to a baseline of good practice in information security and protect themselves against common internet threats. Research by Lancaster University has shown nearly 99% of internet-based attacks can be mitigated by meeting the standards mandated by Cyber Essentials.
Our experienced consultants work with many different types of organisations to ensure they have a smooth journey toward Cyber Essentials certification. We encourage all our clients to reach Cyber Essentials Plus certification as it is an important step towards establishing good information security practices, and it ensures both onsite and remote verification controls are met.
