Context’s resident expert on VoIP security, Fatih Ozavci, will be hosting a full day workshop titled “VoIP Wars: The Live Workshop” at the upcoming 16th Annual AusCERT Cyber Security Conference taking place on the Gold Coast in Australia, from 23-26 May.
The interactive workshop will focus on cutting-edge Unified Communications (UC) and VoIP attacks. It will be a hands-on experience for offensive communications hacking and research. Participants will experience the live attacks using their Virtual Machines especially designed for the CTF-like full day experience.
During the workshop, attendees will learn about security requirements, real-life threats and attack techniques for communications services such as Skype for Business, Cisco CUCM/CUCDM and other common VoIP solutions. In addition, participants will work on a live, CTF-type exercise environment to experience the advanced UC and VoIP attacks demonstrated, and exploit weaknesses in the systems.
The annual AusCERT Cyber Security Conference is one of the largest and oldest cyber security conference in Australia, bringing together hundreds of participants and speakers every year.
