The Cyber Growth Partnership has worked towards supporting the growth of cyber security in the UK. As part of their work, the government has developed a ‘light touch’ scheme known as ‘Cyber Security Supplier To Government Scheme’. The purpose of this is to authorise UK cyber security suppliers to publically reference or advertise their services to the government, e.g. when pursuing further business worldwide. The scheme is administrated by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and is open to all UK companies who have a current contract with the government for supplying cyber security services.
