Context has opened an office in New York City to meet growing demand for its expertise and skills in the fight against cyber crime across North America. We already work with many Fortune 500 companies to avoid potential breaches and deter, detect and respond to the most sophisticated cyber-attacks.
Context has gained the highest international standards with CREST accreditation for skills, processes and methodologies, which are increasingly in demand from US companies, particularly in banking and financial services.
The opening of the New York office follows a period of rapid expansion for Context in the UK, mainland Europe and AsiaPAC. “Opening our first US office is a natural step for Context as we already have clients based in North America along with multi-national organisations with a global presence,” said Mark Raeburn, CEO at Context Information Security.
“Cyber criminals or state sponsored actors have no respect for national borders or reputation and international financial institutions are now under constant threat,” adds Raeburn. “With knowledge and experience of working with major London-based financial organisations, we are in a strong position to help US companies deal with the growing levels of cyber security threats.”
The office will be headed up by Matt Dowson, Commercial Lead North America, and Ranulf Green, Technical Lead North America, who will be looking to quickly ramp up the US-based team.
Context will be sponsoring and attending next week’s CISO Executive Summit on 16 May at New York Marriott Marquis.
