Context’s Andrew Scott, Regional Assurance Lead – Scotland, will speak about Driving Remediation in Large Organisations at the next OWASP Scotland Chapter meeting, taking place from 18:30 on 31st August 2017 at Edinburgh University.
The presentation will outline some of the challenges and solutions for remediating vulnerabilities in large organisations. While many organisations have plenty of means in place to find potential vulnerabilities on their network or system, they often get swamped by the sheer volume of issues found and do not make enough progress on fixing them.
Andrew’s talk will discuss how to sort the must-fixes from the nice-to-haves and how to push the fix rate up while pushing the time to fix down.
