WHAT IS PHYSICAL SECURITY TESTING?
With all focus on ramping up their digital defenses to keep their data secure, many organizations forget that not every security breach involves technology. Physical and procedural security is just as important, as is the awareness of the people in your organization.
A physical social engineering assessment may be used to determine whether an unauthorized actor could gain physical access to your organization’s premises, either through lacking physical security measures or by manipulating your employees.
The assessment will typically start with an intelligence gathering phase (observing the building, access controls, staff activities, and identifying potential attack vectors), followed by the attempt to gain access using the information identified in the previous phase.
Upon completion of the assessment, Context will share an in-depth report detailing all vulnerabilities and potential entry points found (for example, being able to fake building ID cards, tailgating, pose as a repairman, etc), alongside recommendations on what can be done to remediate the issues.
CONTEXT’S PHYSICAL SECURITY TESTS ALLOW YOU TO:
- Identify and exploit flaws in your physical defenses
- Tailor campaigns to your security objectives
- Replicate a real world attempt to compromise your premises
